The Good Design Award is sponsored by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Association (JIDPO), and is awarded to products that are considered to improve the quality and standard of consumer life based on design quality, design philosophy and degree of innovation.
It is a great honor that our product POLY is one of the winning works of the 2021 Good Design Award.
POLY is an office swivel chair that perfectly combines technology, comfort and aesthetics. With the engineering principles behind the Golden Gate Bridge as inspiration, our designer transformed it into a suspended V-shaped back structure. Through the application of the 3D knitting technology, the back area is set for targeted elastic partitioning, providing effective support for the human body.
And POLY is a casual and functional office chair. While the back frame and armrest have geometric forms and adopt many straight lines to the legs, the round balance of the corners and cross-sectional form expresses a smooth impression overall. The 3D mesh on the seat back supports the back effectively with comfortable elastic, and the seat is equipped with various functions to fit different physical shapes. The pop color variations will brighten up your office and work mood. The same consolidated colors are used even for the back side and feet.
