OSIER Office Chair Review: Good News for Long Working Hours

You know you shouldn't sit for long periods of time at work, but you do it anyway, and the OSIER office chair remains comfortable and supports you the entire time.
Some companies are just trying to get you to come and go. AppleInsider previously raved about the Flexispot exercise bike and desk, which can really make you more active. Now, the same company that makes office chairs understands that sometimes you want the opposite.
Sitting for long periods of time will never do you any good, but we all do it, and we all do it often.

The OSIER office chair is designed to make long days more comfortable by providing comfort and excellent back support.
This is a comfortable chair that is also good for your posture and body, and although this is just a subjective opinion, it feels great even on very long work days.
However, you should not lean too far back. You can, and it works well, but the chair seems to expect it if you lean on it a lot.
The tension in my back eased a little. It's still quite sturdy, but it seems to anticipate your slouching and feels less durable.
There's a tension tool at the bottom, a large knob that can theoretically be turned to secure and tighten the back. In fact, the handle is already so tight that it is difficult to move.
The manufacturer describes this chair as being made of a black nylon base and PU (polyurethane) casters. The armrests and components are made of strong and durable plastic, and the main seat component is woven material.
The back is made of an orange material (actually orange) that hugs the body. It has a lot of tension but is quite elastic, and the overall effect is a combination of softness and strength.
The seats are covered with the same material, the same hardness and softness. The seat is also shaped slightly differently, so depending on your height, the front will sit comfortably behind your knees.
We tried a regular office chair from a different brand and it was comfortable longer but not as good.
After about five hours, we had to switch between a basic chair with a metal frame and a universal chair because sitting in any chair all day became painful.
In comparison, the OSIER sat on it for anywhere from 4 to 16 hours over several workdays and remained comfortable.
Take a wild guess. Seriously, you and I have to be mindful of how much time we spend at our desks, but having a chair like this helps us feel comfortable and maintain our posture, so yes, if you're in the UK, you should definitely buy one.
