The Goodtone Poly chair is not only an attractively designed office chair, but also very comfortable. The Goodtone Poly Chair is an affordable mid-range office chair for your home office that you can comfortably use for 8+ hours of work. It has an adjustable lumbar support to support your back, while the contoured seat and backrest keep you upright while you work. The Goodtone Poly chair has six adjustment points, so you can customize it to fit your body. It also features scratch-resistant nylon casters, making it the perfect chair for carpeted or hardwood floors. Perhaps the only thing we don't like is the lack of a headrest.

Our Goodtone Poly chair review will help you decide if it's the best office chair for you and if it's comfortable for long periods of sitting.

The Goodtone Poly chair immediately stands out among office chairs of a similar price category with its unique design that combines style and comfort. In fact, last year the chair won the iF Design Award for "a high-performance office chair that perfectly combines technology, comfort and aesthetics."

The V-shaped hanging back of the Goodtone Poly chair is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also has an adjustable lumbar support. It has chair cushion-like padding and can be moved up and down with two hands.

Instead of flexing outward like the armrests of most other office chairs, Goodtone Poly armrests curve inward, giving the chair a distinctive look. They also have padded armrests that flex slightly during use, making them very comfortable to rest your forearms on. Meanwhile, the seat of the chair is made of molded foam and upholstered in soft fabric.

The fabric on the back is another factor that sets Goodtone Poly apart from the competition. It's made from a unique 3D knit like mesh office chairs and the back is breathable to keep you cool.

While other office chair manufacturers use silver or black for the chair base, Goodtone paints the aluminum base of the Verve chair to match the back, seat cushion, armrests and frame

I've been using the Goodtone Poly chair for the past few weeks and have been pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is, especially when compared to the Branch Ergonomic chair. The seat cushion is softer and I prefer the 3D knit material over the mesh base used on previous Branch chairs. Nylon rollers also make a big difference and roll much smoother on my hardwood floors.

The Goodtone Poly chair has six adjustment points to suit your specific body shape, starting with a lever on the right side of the chair to adjust its height. Although the armrests do not move forward or backward, you can raise or lower them by simply pulling on them.

Directly in front of the lever used to change the height of the Goodtone Poly chair, you will find a knob that can be used to adjust the chair's recline force. This changes the resistance you feel when you lean back.

There are two levers on the left side of the Goodtone Poly chair. The lever at the front is used to lock or unlock the seat tilt mechanism, and the lever at the back is used to adjust the seat depth. Finally, on the back of the chair, you can adjust the lumbar support by pulling it up or down to be in the best position along the natural curve of your spine.

Setting up the Goodtone Poly chair is easy, and the company has a detailed video explaining how it all works. Although I don't usually lean back in my chair very often, I often do with the Verve chair as it provides a great way to stretch your back during long work days.

The Goodtone Poly chair sent to Tom's Guide for review was boxed with plenty of padding to protect all parts during transit. After unpacking, we were left with the backrest, seat cushion, casters and base, as well as all the tools needed for assembly.

Assembling the Goodtone Poly Chair is pretty straightforward and the included instructions are easy to follow. I love how the 10 different bolts required for the connection are clearly marked and the included hex wrench handle makes it easy to screw them all in.

All in all, the whole process took me less than 20 minutes and I was able to make this chair myself without help. One thing that's a little confusing is the chair's armrests, as they face the opposite direction than the armrests on just about any other office chair. Other than that, Goodtone Poly is very easy to assemble and I didn't have any other problems

If you're looking for a comfortable, quality-assured office chair that stands out, the Goodtone Poly chair is a great choice. Thanks to the three-dimensional knitted back and the softer seat cushion, this chair is especially suitable for those who work a lot. The fact that it has no headrests may be a deciding factor for some. However, if you want to sit comfortably in an upright position with a natural posture, the Goodtone Poly chair is definitely worth considering.

The Goodtone Poly chair is one of the most comfortable office chairs I have ever used and looks great when inserted into one of the best standing desks which is just a bonus. You will be hard-pressed to find a chair with such a unique design that is so comfortable to use.
