What is the backrest of an office chair made of?

After leaving for more than 10 days, it is spring when we come back.

The Chinese Lunar New Year is over, Goodtone is back to bring you the latest news and knowledge of office furniture.

Today we will introduce the backrest materials of chairs, mainly including the following, pp, pp+fiberglass, nylon, nylon+fiberglass.

PP: polypropylene referred to as PP, is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic, translucent solid substance. [4] Polypropylene is a thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance, which is a colorless and translucent thermoplastic lightweight general-purpose plastic. It has chemical resistance, heat resistance, electrical insulation, high-strength mechanical properties and good high wear-resistant processing properties, etc., which makes polypropylene rapidly used in machinery, automobiles, electronic appliances, construction, textiles, packaging since its inception. It has been widely developed and applied in many fields such as agriculture, forestry, fishery and food industry.

Nylon:Polyamide is commonly known as Nylon. Polyamide is mainly used for synthetic fibers. Its most prominent advantage is that its wear resistance is higher than that of all other fibers, which is 10 times higher than that of cotton and 20 times higher than that of wool. Adding some polyamide fibers can greatly improve its wear resistance; when stretched to 3-6%, the elastic recovery rate can reach 100%; it can withstand tens of thousands of flexes without breaking.

And Goodtone’s chair backrest material is basically nylon and glass fiber, the backrest load-bearing capacity of the two is greatly increased, and the service life is also extended a lot.
